Tips to Crack JEE Main 2022
Students who wish to join engineering in IITs, NITs, and other prestigious engineering colleges have to clear the JEE Main exam. This exam is considered as one of the toughest exams in India. The exam conducting authority (NTA) is expected to conduct the JEE Main 2022 exam in four sessions – February, March, April, and May. The exam conducting authority has not yet announced the date of JEE 2022. The JEE exam application form date will be notified soon on the NTA website – jeemain.nta.nic.in 2022. Know the Exam Syllabus
It is very important for the students to have a clear understanding of the syllabus and pattern of the JEE Main exam. It helps them to focus on the important chapters and learn them. The syllabus and pattern will be available on the official website. Students are advised to know about the weightage or distribution of marks. They should focus on improving their speed and accuracy. There will be 90 questions for the exam from which students have to attempt only 75 questions. There will be 20 MCQs and 5 numeric type problems from each subject.
Mock Tests and Previous Years’ Question Papers
Learning the previous years’ questions will definitely help the candidates to get an idea about the difficulty level and type of questions asked for the JEE 2022. This will also help them to find out their weaker areas and concentrate more on those topics. Attempting the maximum number of mock tests is one of the best methods of preparation for the JEE Main exam. This will help students to reduce exam fear during the actual test. Students should make a timetable and learn accordingly.
JEE Preparation
The JEE Main exam needs a lot of preparation and learning. Students should start JEE preparation from grade 11 itself. Students should learn the basics properly. Equal importance should be given to the three subjects. Once they finish learning the NCERT books, they can start learning from other books from the best authors available in the market. These include Objective Mathematics by R.D. Sharma, books by J.D. Lee, O.P. Tandon, I.E. Irodov, H.C. Verma, D.C. Pandey, Algebra by Dr. SK Goyal Arihant Publications, etc. Students should revise these books wisely.
