KP govt allocates Rs 144 bln for Elementary, Secondary Education

Khyber Pakthunkhwa governing administration has allocated Rs. 144 billion for 105 projects of Elementary and Secondary Instruction (E&S) in the provincial price range 2022-23.

Finance Minister, Taimur Khan Jhagra whilst presenting the finances in KP Assembly explained that Rs.17 billion were allocated for Elementary and Secondary Education beneath Once-a-year Advancement System (ADP).

Offering aspects of mega schools jobs , he claimed that volume of Rs. 3.4 billion has been earmarked out of complete Rs. 36.6 billion for setting up 711 schools both equally for boys and women ,introducing that Rs.3.2 billion out of full Rs.35.5 billion allotted for reconstruction of 1,318 educational facilities.

The minister reported that Rs.2.1 specified in the spending budget for improving typical of 521 schools and Rs.2.6 billion for up-gradation of 914 educational institutions.

He claimed that total of Rs. 320 million allocated for giving standard amenities, provision of college luggage and stationery. He also declared allocation of Rs.500 million for scholarship of pupils from class 1 to class 8 in merged districts.

The present finances contain Rs. 2 billion for acquire of furniture, Rs.1 billion for next shift courses, Rs.2.4 billion for scholarship for college students.
