Carrollton Education Board approves seven contracts

CARROLLTON – David Davis, principal of Carrollton Higher College and Carrollton Middle University, is amid 7 directors acquiring new contracts with the Carrollton Exempted Village Board of Schooling.

The new contracts will run for two decades. Together with Davis, other administrators obtaining new contracts are: Stephanie Glasure, director of curriculum, instruction and evaluation Leslie Lucas, coordinator of education management and information and facts system.

Timothy Albrecht, assistant principal at the high faculty and middle school Darin Abel, assistant principal at Carrollton Elementary School Melanie Beohm, faculty program psychologist, and Barbara Burns, cafeteria supervisor.

5 contracts begin Aug. 1

5 of the contracts start off Aug. 1. The contracts for Lucas and Burns commence July 1.

With the acceptance of these new contracts, the board is delaying changing salaries for the directors till a new labor agreement is attained with the teachers’ union, the Carrollton Instruction Affiliation.

“We have not finished our CEA contract,” Treasurer Amy Spears reported. “At the time the CEA contract is adopted, they will consider action on the directors.”

Davis has been principal considering that 2004. With the higher university and center faculty housed inside of the same making, he serves as principal of both of those.

“It just operates out effectively to have one principal,” claimed Dan Ries, president of the Carrollton Exempted Village Board of Schooling. “We have assistant principals to support him out. He has been doing a wonderful career.”
